EXCELLENT Based on 93 reviews Posted on Google Elaine RushantTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have just purchased a property in Cullen and the trees in our garden needed to be pruned back as the garden was very overgrown. We were extremely happy with the job carried out by Epic Tree Care Limited. Elaine provided us with a clear and detailed quote. When the work was carried out the whole team were lovely and were really helpful in passing on their knowledge about the various species in our garden. Jason also fully explained what they'd done and what they hadn't (nesting birds!) so we knew exactly how the job was progressing. A great job done! I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in future.Posted on Google Lorna AdamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a couple of trees removed by Epic Tree Care. They provided a quote very promptly and turned up to carry out the work at the agreed time. The team were all very helpful and friendly. The trees were cut up and left in a neat pile as we had requested. They removed all the unusable small branches and left the area tidy.Posted on Google Michael BarronTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used Epic several times to remove large windblown and damaged trees from our garden and they always do the work very efficiently and expertly at a reasonable cost. Epic also deals with getting consent from Moray Council under the tree preservation order which covers all of the trees in our garden, so we do not need to worry about the paperwork.Posted on Google Beatrix EtienneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve used Epic Tree Care twice now, and on both occasions they’ve delivered excellent service and great value for money. Their pricing is very competitive compared to others I looked at, and they always carry out a survey and provide a free quote before starting any work. The team arrived on time, got straight to work, and were professional and courteous throughout. They did a great job and left my garden clean and tidy afterwards. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using their services again in the future.Posted on Google Diane WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Epic Tree Care recently dealt with a 20m-plus poplar that had been blown to a precarious angle in the last storm. It was removed carefully and the surrounding area was tidier after the work than it had been before they arrived. I will certainly be using Epic Tree Care in future and am very happy to recommend them.Posted on Google John KingstonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Frequently Asked Questions
What does a tree surgeon do?
A tree surgeon or arborist is a highly-trained professional who performs a variety of tasks related to the care and maintenance of trees. Tree surgeons are most visible in the aftermath of extreme weather events when they can be seen cutting back or removing damaged trees on roadways. The job of the tree surgeon involves tree pruning, tree planting, tree relocating and tree removal as well as treating tree diseases and infestations. They also consult in cases where trees and developers come into conflict or when someone desires to work on a tree protected by a Tree Protection Order (TPO), or a tree located in a conservation area.
Can I remove one of my trees myself?
You may, repeat may, have the right to remove one of the trees on your property yourself, but it is not advisable unless you have experience felling trees. A mature tree can weigh 3 or 4 tonnes which can do considerable damage to your home, not to mention people, should you lose control of the removal process. But there is also the possibility you may not have the right to remove one of your trees without permission. If there is a Tree Protection Order active for the tree or the tree is in a Conservation area you will need to obtain permission from your local authority before removing it.
What happens to the branches you remove or the trees you cut down?
All waste from a jobsite is disposed of in full compliance with the government’s safe disposal regulations. But not all the byproducts of work are disposed of. Branches, trunks and stumps may be cut into logs for firewood or put through our chipper and transformed into chips that can be used as a landscaping element. If you would like to keep any logs or chips just let us know beforehand and we will be happy to turn them over to you.
Why do trees need pruning?
There are a variety of reasons why trees need to be pruned. For one, pruning may enhance the structure and strength of the tree. Pruning can also remove any dangerous or dead branches. Pruning is also done to make sure branches do not come in contact with power lines and to reduce the amount of shade a tree casts on a property. And pruning is often called for to make sure there is a safe distance between a tree and a house or business.
How much does tree surgery cost?
The cost depends on a number of factors including how many trees are involved, the size of the trees, whether they are easy or difficult to access, the type of work that needs to be done and how many tree surgeons are required to perform the work properly. We will be happy to provide you with a no-obligation quotation. Simply get in touch with Epic Tree Care and let us know what type of work you need to be done on your tree or trees.
