Our Range of Hedge Services in Aberdeenshire
The primary services we offer to our customers in Aberdeenshire and adjacent areas, include the following:
A well-kept hedge is an asset to any residential or public garden but one that is growing out of control can be both an eyesore and a source of future problems. If you don’t have the time or tools to take care of your garden hedges, let the team at Epic Tree Care do it for you. We have years of experience and come fully equipped for all eventualities.
When regular trimming fails to keep a mature hedge in check, more drastic action may be required. Our hedge reduction service is designed to help people with out-of-control hedges to get them back under control, without causing any lasting damage in the process. As some species are more amenable to this procedure than others, we suggest a site visit before making any concrete plans. As with all our hedge services in Aberdeenshire, our reduction service is available to domestic, commercial and public sector customers.
When larger hedges start to outgrow their surroundings and threaten to damage nearby buildings, complete removal is often the most practical solution. There are also cases where hedges in open spaces that have grown out of control cannot be saved, with removal being the preferred option in these cases too. We will always try to save a hedge if possible but some species are simply unable to recover from a hedge reduction procedure so we recommend removal as a more practical, long-term solution for these situations.
After a hedge has been removed, stumps and root systems are left behind in the ground. Over a period of many years, these stumps and roots may naturally decay but if you want a faster solution, the best one is our hedge stump removal service. This service is performed by specialists, using state-of-the-art stump grinding machinery. Once they have finished, all that will be left is a nutritious mulch that will enrich the soil in the vicinity.
We also provide hedge and hedgerow survey & inspection services, principally to forestry organisations and commercial clients in the area but also to private individuals when required. Whatever your specific requirements may be, you are always welcome to call for more details about our hedge services in Aberdeenshire. We will be happy to answer any questions that you have and to prepare a quotation if requested.
EXCELLENT Based on 93 reviews Posted on Google Elaine RushantTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have just purchased a property in Cullen and the trees in our garden needed to be pruned back as the garden was very overgrown. We were extremely happy with the job carried out by Epic Tree Care Limited. Elaine provided us with a clear and detailed quote. When the work was carried out the whole team were lovely and were really helpful in passing on their knowledge about the various species in our garden. Jason also fully explained what they'd done and what they hadn't (nesting birds!) so we knew exactly how the job was progressing. A great job done! I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in future.Posted on Google Lorna AdamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a couple of trees removed by Epic Tree Care. They provided a quote very promptly and turned up to carry out the work at the agreed time. The team were all very helpful and friendly. The trees were cut up and left in a neat pile as we had requested. They removed all the unusable small branches and left the area tidy.Posted on Google Michael BarronTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have used Epic several times to remove large windblown and damaged trees from our garden and they always do the work very efficiently and expertly at a reasonable cost. Epic also deals with getting consent from Moray Council under the tree preservation order which covers all of the trees in our garden, so we do not need to worry about the paperwork.Posted on Google Beatrix EtienneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve used Epic Tree Care twice now, and on both occasions they’ve delivered excellent service and great value for money. Their pricing is very competitive compared to others I looked at, and they always carry out a survey and provide a free quote before starting any work. The team arrived on time, got straight to work, and were professional and courteous throughout. They did a great job and left my garden clean and tidy afterwards. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using their services again in the future.Posted on Google Diane WilsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Epic Tree Care recently dealt with a 20m-plus poplar that had been blown to a precarious angle in the last storm. It was removed carefully and the surrounding area was tidier after the work than it had been before they arrived. I will certainly be using Epic Tree Care in future and am very happy to recommend them.Posted on Google John KingstonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
